IAMONET-RU offers study and research possibilities for Russian applicants at the following 8 EU-Higher Education Institutions in seven countries.

Information for Applicants:

1. Bachelor programs (Undergraduate students)

The university currently offers 12 Bachelor study programmes in the fields Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Economics and Social Sciences

Teaching language: German language

Language proof: No international language proof for exchange students required; but at least the level “B2”

Application Deadline for exchange students: 15.01. (for the start of summer semester); 15.07. (for the beginning of winter semester)

Important information: Application information for exchange students will be given from the host university coordinator after you have been selected for a grant!

2. Master programs (Graduate students)

The offer for Master programs is continuously being extended, so that a wide range of subjects, corresponding to the current developments in science and society, can be provided. The latter comprises natural sciences, agricultural sciences, as well as economics and social sciences

a) Non-degree-seeking students (6 months): no international language proof for exchange students required; but at least the level “B2”;

Application Deadline

a) non-degree-seeking students: 15.01. (with the start of summer semester); 15.07. (with the beginning of winter semester); Exact application information for exchange students will be given from the host university coordinator after you have been selected for a grant!

b) degree-seeking students: Application directly at the university within the application period for the study programs. If you are not applying within the official application period, you cannot be accepted for a grant either! The application for the full Master programs can be done in parallel with the application for the grant within IAMONET-RU.

3. Doctorates (PhD-students)

Sandwich-PhD-student (12 months): To be accepted as a “sandwich”-PhD-student each candidate must:

a) apply as a exchange-PhD-student within the application deadline 15.01. or 15.07. as exchange student; Application information for exchange PhD-students will be given from the host university coordinator after you have been selected for a grant!

Full PhD-students (34 months grant)

Application information for full PhD-students will be given from the host university coordinator after you have been selected for a grant!

4. Post Doctorates and Academic Staff

No special requirements from the host university; letter of confirmation from a supervisor is needed to be accepted at University of Hohenheim. This letter should be requested already within the period of application for the grant.

Partner 03: University of Tuebingen, Germany

All students coming for a 6 months period only will be admitted through the Akademischer Austausch and can select from almost all courses listed in the campus-system.
Please use the "öffentlicher Zugang zum Vorlesungsverzeichnis" and then select the semester, either summer or winter term, in the blue line.
Now you can select a faculty and from there the department. After you select a course please click it and read the details. Usually they are in German, which means the course is conducted in German. If the course description is in English you may assume that the course is conducted in English.
Students studying Economics will be limited in number and selected and advised by the department.

The application material for the admission is due shortly after the IAMONET-RU scholarship selection has taken place.

Education and research is carried out at 18 faculties.

1. Bachelor (undergraduate students) programs:

There are no fixed programs at the bachelor level. The university offers ca. 200 lecture courses in English as the language of instruction. This permits tailoring individual programs of study. For the description of the courses see our on-line course catalogue:

2. Master programs (Graduate students)

The offer for Master students is continuously being extended. WULS offers six full master programs of duration of three or four semesters taught in English.

Important information: there is no Mundus students enrollment for Veterinary Medicine!

Students may also take courses offered within fixed study programs (see degree-

seeking students point). No international language proof for exchange students

required, but at least level B2

incoming students (full degree programs) have to submit one of the following documents:

- TOEFL Certificate: minimum score: 420 points(paper), 187 (computer), 75 (internet)

- TOEIC Certificate: minimum score 605 points

- IELTS Certificate: minimum score : 5,0

- First Certificate in English of the University of Cambridge

- Certificate of a University Language Centre certifying sufficient knowledge of

English (obligatory level B2 or above)

 

3. Doctorate (PhD students), Post-Doctorate, Academic Staff
